Food cravings are the worst on lazy days or when there isn’t a lot of ingredients in your kitchen. However, these recipes could be the answer to that problem.

1. Chocolate Mug Cake

For the days you’re feeling extra lazy but are having cravings, this could be perfect for you. All you need is an egg, powdered sugar and cocoa powder. Mix all the ingredients in a mug then microwave for 50-60 seconds.

2. Pandan Chiffon Cake

Okay, we cheated a little. This recipe has 4 ingredients instead of 3 but it’s still super simple to make.

You will need eggs, castor sugar, cake flour and pandan paste. First, beat the sugar and eggs in a bowl until it’s light and fluffy. Add in the pandan paste then the flour and mix well. Bake it for 20 minutes then it’s ready to be eaten.

 

3. Strawberry Layer Cake

This one requires a little box from the store. Get a box of yellow cake mix, strawberries and cream.

All you need to do is make the yellow cake according to the instructions, pour the batter into two separate pans. Once baked, put the first cake on a platter then slather cream and lay the strawberries. Then put the second cake on top and repeat the process with the cream and strawberries.

 

4. Nutella Brownies

Have nutella cravings? This might solve your problems.

In a bowl, put a cup of Nutella, 2 eggs and ten tablespoons of flour. Mix it well and bake it in the oven for 20-25 minutes. You can even serve it with a scoop of ice-cream if you’re feeling fancy.

 

5. Oreo Fudge

This may not be a cake but this recipe will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth.

To make the Oreo fudge, you will need 24 Oreo cookies, a can of condensed milk and a packet of white chocolate chips. In a saucepan, mix the condensed milk and white chocolate chips together. Put 20 Oreo cookies into a plastic bag, smash them and pour it into the chocolate mixture. Once mixed well, pour the mixture into a pan. Break the remaining Oreo cookies and sprinkle it on top. Refrigerate it for at least 2 hours then it’s ready to be eaten.
