MIN KAFFE CUSTARD AGAR-AGAR PUDDING

Ingredients for agar-agar pudding :

Agar-agar, 35,g

Castor sugar,480,gm

Melted butter,187.5,gm

Egg yolks,5

Evaporated milk,1,can

Water,1.25,litre

Custard powder,3,tbsp(mixed)-custard mixture

Water,3,tbsp

Vanilla extract,1,tsp

Hai-O Min Kaffe,2,sachets

Ingredients for custard sauce :

Cream, 200,ml

Sugar,1,tbsp

Custard powder,2,tsp(mixed)-custard mixture

Water,2,tsp

To prepare for agar-agar pudding :

  1. In a bowl add (egg yolks,vanilla essence and melted butter). Set aside.

  2. Add water in a saucepan then add agar-agar and sugar.Cook until dissolved.

  3. Next add 2 sachet of Min Kaffe and whisk until dissolve.

  4. Pour in the (egg mixture) and custard mixture slowly and simmer on low heat. Keep on whisking until the mixture thickens to a custard like form.

  5. Pour the mixture into jelly pan or glassware. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

To prepare for custard sauce:

  1. Heat cream into a saucepan and add sugar. Cook until dissolved.Then add the custard mixture and whisk until slightly thickened.Let cool before serving.

To serve :

  1. Cut pudding into desire shape.Pour the custard sauce on the pudding.Garnish with some berries or desired cut fruits.
