Let’s face it, not everyone is a natural at cooking and when you’re not, it can be quite daunting.
However, there are still recipes that are super easy for beginners.
1. Cornflake Cookies
A favourite during festivities, cornflake cookies are not only delicious but is very easy to make. All you need is 3 ingredients: cornflakes, honey and tiny cupcake holders.
To make it, put the honey and cornflakes in a bowl and mix. When it’s well mixed, scoop the mixture into the cupcake holders and bake it in the oven for 10 minutes.

2. Egg Sandwich
Easy and super appetising, an egg sandwich can be your new favourite meal for breakfast. In a bowl, mash some eggs then add in mayonnaise, salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly. Then all you need to do is spread the mixture on a piece of bread and cover with another piece.
3. Honey Chicken
In a bowl, mix the turmeric, salt, oyster sauce and pepper together. Then coat the chicken pieces with the mixture and fry until golden brown. In a pan, heat oil then put in garlic, chili paste, honey, oyster sauce and mix thoroughly.
To serve, put the fried chicken on a plate then pour the honey sauce on top.

4. Multipurpose Sambal
This might just be your next holy grail ingredient. This versatile dish can be used for almost anything so it’s good to always have it in your pantry.
Blend dried chilli, belacan, onion and dried shrimp with a little bit of oil. In a pan, saute the blended ingredients. Then add in the asam water, salt and sugar and mix thoroughly.
