Kali ini resipi yang di kongsi kan agak berlainan sebab resipi ini khas buat ibu-ibu diluar sana dan mempunyai anak yang tak gemar makan nasi. Couscous ni rupanya seperti nasi, tapi sebenarnya sejenis pasta. Jadi anda boleh ganti kan nasi dengan couscous ini dan kita gandingkan couscous ini dengan crispy chicken sebagai penambah selera untuk anak-anak anda.
Jangan lupa untuk memasak couscous ini dengan menggunakan Adela Vanaspati tau. Pasti lebih sedap! Jom cuba resipi ini.
Ingredients A:
½ chicken breast (chopped into small pieces)
1 tbs chicken stock
4 tbsp all-purpose flour
4 tbsp breadcrumbs
1 egg
Oil ADELA Gold (for fry)
Ingredients B:
3 capsicum (yellow, green and red) – chopped into small pieces
½ cup couscous
½ cup hot water
1 tbsp ADELA Vanaspati
1 tbsp chicken stock
300ml water
Ingredients C – for decoration
Cucumber (eyes)
Blueberry (eyes & nose)
Red Capsicum (mouth)
Capsicum – red, yellow and green (decoration)
Method A:
1. Add chicken stock in a chopped chicken breast and stir.
2. Dip the chicken into flour, egg and breadcrumbs then fry it.
Method B:
1. Pour the couscous into a bowl and add in the hot water. Let the couscous absorbs the water and set aside.
2. In a medium saucepan, pour the water, couscous and add ADELA Vanaspati and stir it well. Let it boil for 3-4 minutes.
3. Once it nicely cooked, toss the couscous and set aside.
4. Take a frying pan, add ADELA Vanaspati and all 3 colours capsicum already chopped into small pieces.
5. Pour the couscous into a frying pan and add the chicken stock. Stir it well for 1 minute.
6. The couscous is now ready for the decoration.
