KAYA SPREAD
Ingredients needed:
1. 6 egg yolks
2. 1 egg
3. 150ml coconut milk
4. 1 cup granulated sugar
5. 10 pandan leaves
6. 2 tablespoons corn flour
This is how to prepare it:
1. First boil the water in a pan for double boiler technique
2. Then mix all ingredients in a pot and stir well
3. Then lift the pot and place it into the pan where the water is boiling, turn down the heat and stir until the mixture becomes thick and shiny.
4. Drain, cool and kaya spread is ready to be served with bread.
5. Kaya spread can also be used as the fillings for steamed bun or Pau.
