Kuih Abok-Abok atau Abok-Abok Sagu ini memang berasal daripada Malaysia. Ia juga antara hidangan tradisi tetapi jarang dibuat sekarang. Jarang kita tengok orang buat jualan kan? 

Apa kata anda mulakan dan menjual kuih legend ini. Kalau orang dulu-dulu ni mesti suka. Jom buat!

Bahan-bahan:

Sagu biji 2 warna (beli yang dah siap pun ada – asingkan)

Gula merah (lebih sedap gula Melaka)

Kelapa parut (yang muda lebih sedap)

Sedikit garam

Daun pisang

Beberapa batang lidi (untuk mencucuk daun pisang

Cara membuat:

  1. Sagu biji dibersihkan kemudian ditoskan.
  2. Campurkan sagu biji dengan kelapa parut. Tambah sedikit garam supaya rasa lemak.
  3. Gula merah dipotong dan dihancurkan.
  4. Daun pisang dipotong menjadi saiz kon (supaya mudah untuk melipatnya nanti).
  5. Kemudian, isikan sagu yang dah bercampur kelapa dan garam tadi ke dalam daun pisang.  Anggaran satu sudu.
  6. Seterusnya, letakkan gula merah yang dah hancur tadi anggaran satu sudu kecil (atau terpulang banyak mana yang anda suka).
  7. Sesudah itu, sagu biji ditambah lagi. Ikut suka anda nak mulakan dengan warna apa dahulu.
  8. Saya buat warna hijau diikuti dengan warna pink.
  9. Kemudian daun pisang dilipat dan dicucuk dengan batang lidi. Tujuannya supaya daun pisang tidak tanggal balutannya.
  10. Kukus dalam 30 minit.

*Tanda ia dah masak, bila biji sagu itu telah bertukar menjadi warna jernih.
